Caring for your Uuni Stone Baking Board:
Don’t leave the stone outside for extended periods of time. The stone can absorb humidity from the air and it can take a little longer to heat up next time it comes to using your Uuni.
Pizza stones can be fragile when hot or wet. Do not remove your pizza stone until it has fully cooled down and do not use it until it’s completely dry. Doing so could cause it to crack.
Many Uuni owners prefer not to clean their stone and allow the high Uuni temperatures to burn off any excess food. If your Uuni Stone requires washing, use warm water only and dry thoroughly by placing in a warm oven (60˚C/140˚F) for 2 hours.
